However, this also marked the start of a significant transformation.

In 2024, we recognised the need for a dedicated and strategic approach to developing talent. The solution? The creation of the Talent and Apprenticeship Development Team. This group was built to engage directly with leading training providers, align apprenticeship programmes with the real skills and ambitions of our employees, and build a clear pathway to success.

The Talent and Apprenticeship Team’s role has been pivotal in nurturing our talent and making apprenticeships a cornerstone of career development at The QHotels Collection. Thanks to their efforts, we now have a supportive and structured apprenticeship framework that guides our employees from day one, helping them thrive in meaningful, long-term roles.

We’ve already seen a remarkable increase in the number of internal apprenticeships, rising by 240%, with 20% of our apprentices joining us from external recruitment.
