There’s nothing more special or more personal or more totally, unbelievably fantastic than bringing a new life into the world. It kind of makes you want to shout out from the rooftops, which isn’t the most responsible thing for a new parent to do… so instead, why not celebrate with your family and friends at the Oxford Belfry?

Each of our function rooms is ideal, and all are almost as beautiful as your new little angel. Combined with the hospitality of our Events team, they’ll help make your naming ceremony a unique and memorable occasion.

Your co-ordinator will sit down with you to discuss your ideas for the day and help you plan any decoration you want, such as flowers, as well as menus, drinks, music and so on. The ceremony can be organised however you like, although they tend to last about 20 minutes and include an introduction and readings, and you can conduct the proceedings yourself, or ask a professional Celebrant to do it for you.

However your day unfolds, gathering your friends and family together to celebrate a new life, be it your own baby, an adopted child or a stepchild, is a joyous occasion, and we’ll help make it even more so.
