You’re in the heart of buzzing Manchester and whether you’re a Sex and the city fan or not, it’d be rude not to do cocktails. The Wyvern Bar enjoys an exclusive repertoire and a fully-stocked cabinet that is sure to please every taste. Our most popular request is actually a gin and tonic. So you can imagine we’re quite good at making those too. The Wyvern has an excellent view over St Peter's Square in central Manchester, great for people watching and is the perfect place to meet up with the girls or take some time out before heading into town.

If you’re a history buff, you’ll be interested to hear that the original owners of The Midland Hotel, the Midland Railway Group, adopted the mythological wyvern as part of their emblem. You can still spot it among the original glazed tiles of the hotel's exterior.
