We often find that once our guests arrive, they’re in no hurry to leave and will happily spend their entire break in their room, in the spa, the gym, on the tennis courts, in the bar, the restaurants and in the grounds. However, if you can bear to tear yourself away from this 4 star gorgeousness for a while, there’s lots to enjoy in the immediate vicinity (we wouldn’t want to send you too far afield in case you get withdrawal symptoms).

This lovely part of the world is close to charming villages, the North Wessex downs, the Solent if you fancied some sailing and not far from the beautiful New Forest. And if we wanted to show off, we’d mention the Michelin starred pubs, restaurants, theatres, adventure play grounds, botanic gardens, horse racing course, parks, woodland, and walks nearby too. But we think that’s enough for now.
