If you're not relaxed when you arrive at the Terrace bar, you will be when you leave. This informal, chilled out environment is the perfect place to laze with a pint and a newspaper, or a coffee and a magazine.

Overlooking the landscaped gardens, the views are wonderful. Many have compared our lawns to Watership Down – 502 happy bunnies have been counted so far…  And when the sky's clear and the weather's fine, a seat on the terrace can seem like the best place on earth, particularly when your next Bombay Sapphire gin and tonic (our signature drink) arrives courtesy of our Terrace Bar Steward.

If you've been out wandering around the lovely grounds, or even doing something a little more energetic in the gym, The Terrace Bar is the first place to head for a well-earned drink. And once you've seen our menu and wine list, you'll be looking for any excuse to come back. Crammed full of tempting snacks, seasonal specials and light meals, the menu is as satisfying as the lovely view.
