We often find that once our guests arrive, they're in no hurry to leave and will happily spend their entire break in their room, in the spa, the gym, the bar, the restaurants and in the grounds. However, if you can bear to tear yourself away from this 4 star gorgeousness for a while, there's lots to enjoy in the immediate vicinity (we wouldn't want to send you too far afield in case you get withdrawal symptoms).

You may find the cultural appeal of Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon is easier on the wallet. A little bit of stunning history with some ghosts thrown in is on offer for all the family at nearby Warwick Castle. In between there's the lovely countryside bordering the River Avon in this very green Heart of England. And if we wanted to show off, we'd mention the Michelin starred pub, restaurants, theatres, adventure play grounds, botanic gardens, horse racing course, parks, woodland, and walks nearby too. But we think that's enough for now.
