Welcome to Bridgewood Manor. This 4* hotel situated on the outskirts of historic Rochester creates a relaxing ambience due to its gothic architecture and beautiful courtyard. With 3 function suites available to hold your wedding or commitment ceremony in and 4 suites available for your wedding breakfast and evening entertainment, there is something to suit everyone from 10 guests up to 180.

Our fine banqueting menus have been specially prepared for you by our Executive Head Chef. A fine choice of set menus are available to select from, alternatively we will be very happy to help you tailor your very own menu.
Preferential Accommodation Rates
We offer preferential accommodation rates for yourselves and your guests, which include bed and breakfast and full use of our leisure club facilities. Pamper yourself with a relaxing massage prior to the big day or have your hair and make up done with our professional beauticians.

Charges
There is a charge of £399.00 to use Bridgewood Manor as a marriage venue only, or £210.00 if both the marriage ceremony and wedding reception are held in the hotel.
The venue charge includes all the requirements as specified by the Registrar, a music system to play your choice of music (which must be approved by the Registrar in advance) during the ceremony, a pedestal flower arrangement and a posy arrangement for the marriage table.
Dates and Times
Marriage ceremonies may take place at any time of day between 9.00am and 5.00pm, on any day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day.
A provisional booking will be made by the hotel and a copy of the Marriage Booking Form will be sent to the Registrar by the hotel upon receipt of the necessary deposit, at which time it becomes the responsibility of the Wedding Couple to confirm arrangements and charges with the Registrar.
Booking and Payment
A provisional booking may be placed, subject to availability, and will be held for two weeks, after which a deposit of £1000.00 is required in order to confirm the marriage date.
Full payment of the balance is required 21 days in advance of the marriage date. All deposits are non-returnable.
Facilities
Within the hotel three function rooms have been licensed for marriages as follows:
MAIDSTONE SUITE:
Seating for 50 guests for a ceremony only or a maximum of 40 for a ceremony with a wedding breakfast to follow in the Stratford Suite.
HOGARTH SUITE:
Seating for up to 100 guests for a ceremony only or seating for up to 80 guests for both a ceremony and reception.
HYTHE SUITE:
Seating for up to 180 guests for a ceremony only or seating for up to 130 guests for both a ceremony and reception.
